CuraFlo of San Antonio, licensed by Bryco Plumbing Company, Inc., offers a quick, affordable, convenient alternative to total pipe replacement. Here's how it works: A layer of National Sanitation Foundation (NSF)-61 rated epoxy is applied to the inside of existing pipe systems to combat corrosion, automatically repair pinhole leaks and improve the taste and quality of your water. CuraFlo comes with a 10-year warranty, but pipe function is usually extended by 30 to 50 years. In addition, CuraFlo is NSF-rated for both commercial ("C") and residential ("D") applications.

How it Works

Our safe and effective 3-step process has been used in thousands of homes and commercial facilities across North America:

Step 1: Clean the pipe by air-forcing sand particles through it.

Step 2: Dry the pipe with warm air.

Step 3: Coat the pipe with safe, long-lasting CuraPoxy lining.

The Result:
Restored water flow, clean and safe drinking water, and pipes that are protected against future corrosion. Learn more about how CuraFlo can solve your pipe problems.

History

The United States Navy tested this process in the early 1990s. Several Naval facilities had to be closed because the water quality was so poor. So Naval researchers applied technology they used to prevent corrosion on aircraft carriers to their plumbing system. The result: leaks were fixed, future corrosion was prevented and the overall quality of the water improved dramatically. Read the report.

It became available commercially in the mid-1990s. Its popularity has grown as more and more clients learn about this affordable, convenient, non-intrusive way to give new life to old pipes. You can get up to an additional half-century of use out of your pipes with CuraFlo compared to the 20 to 25 year lifespan of a copper pipe. You'll also save time and money on the project. Typically, the epoxy has cured and your water is back on in five hours. Because there's no tearing into walls, pipelining is generally 20 percent cheaper than repiping.
